University of Marist, a leading British multi-level education institution offering high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes, has announced a significant expansion of its Summer Pre-College programme for 2025. Designed to provide high school students with immersive, hands-on academic experiences, the programme aims to nurture early intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary competence, and preparedness for higher education challenges. The 2025 Summer Pre-College offering features 20 distinct courses delivered over two intensive sessions, running from late June through late July. These courses span a broad spectrum of disciplines, including business, environmental science, fashion design, game design, psychology, sports communication, and studio art portfolio development. Session I, scheduled from June 29 to July 12, includes popular and capacity-limited courses such as Business, Pre-Health, and Fashion Design (Apparel Construction), underscoring strong demand in these areas. Session II, from July 13 to July 26, offers additional opportunities for students to engage in specialised study, including Fashion Merchandising and Game Design. Students may enrol in multiple sessions, provided there is no scheduling conflict, allowing for a customised and comprehensive summer learning experience.

Each course is structured to combine theoretical foundations with practical applications, facilitated by faculty members who are accomplished scholars and industry professionals. For example, the Environmental Science course integrates fieldwork and laboratory experiments to develop students’ scientific inquiry and data analysis skills. Similarly, the Game Design course guides participants through the creative process of conceptualising and prototyping interactive digital environments, fostering technical proficiency and creative problem-solving.

The programme also emphasises portfolio development, particularly in visual arts courses, where students receive personalised feedback and mentorship aimed at preparing them for competitive university admissions.
